I am here because I love to write. I take so much pleasure in connecting with the unspoken, vibrant energies of the universe and sharing space with the quiet musings of the human condition, all of which becomes a dance for me when I put pen to paper. Language allows me to become a channel for something greater than myself. Writing is my art.

I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana with Mexican and Jewish lineage. I am formally educated as a pre-school teacher with a focus on adolescent and child-psychology through the University of New Orleans. Though I don’t have any interest in returning to the classroom anytime soon, I deeply value young ones, hold them in the highest regard and take my knowledge with me everywhere I go. I am also a certified life coach, trained through the incredible University of Wellness.

I can go into great detail about who I am and how I got right here, right now…but what fun would that be? If you read my work, you might just be able to piece that puzzle together yourself. Enjoy.
